I think we all know what its like to be the person of these words. We're broken and lost and have no one to turn to. And we turn to God, thinking 'How on earth does He even want to help me again ??' We've all messed up. And that's ok.  We think that God must have a limit to how many times He can help a person out.  Wrong.  Utterly, completely wrong.  He comes back again and again and again because He cares. He cares about me. He cares about you. He cares about the baby that will be born three months from now. He cares about the grandmother who sits in

We think we know what is right. We think we know it all. We can choose- after all, we have the power  to choose.  But that doesn't always mean we should be the ones choosing.  We tell  God how He can help us. We instruct Him on how to get us back. We are so used to having talent- we all have it, because God gave it to us -but we forget that  He gave it to us, and we forget to give Him the credit that He deserves.  He should be the One that we say the first thing about. When we are showing or telling people about something that we've done, we always point everything back at ourselves. We take all the pleasure and glory that our God given  gifts bring to us, and we need to remember that God gave us these things- and He can take them away.  So join with me and let us together give all the glory back to God. Even in our darkest hour- even when all hope seems to be lost, the love and light that our Lord has for us will lead us safely to shore. We can trust Him, and we know that He will lead us home.  Even when the walls come crashing in. Even when the sun is falling down. Even when everyone around us is turned against us, God is always for us. He is behind us and in front of us. He is all around us, making sure that we will forever see His face and His glory.  We have a wonderful home to come to if we just follow that Light.  Through Him We Have Strength By Ava Grace  Our strength comes not from us, but from the One Who created us. We have no power in this world. We are weak men with weak souls. Nothing that we do comes from our own strength, but from Him. The song Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me, by City Alight goes like this: What gift of grace is Jesus my Redeemer There is no more for heaven now to give He is my Joy, my Righteousness and Freedom My steadfast Love, my deep and boundless Peace To this I hold, my Hope is only Jesus For my life is wholly bound to His Oh how strange and divine I can sing all is mine Yet not I but through Christ in me This first verse and chorus tells us that nothing that we could possibly do comes from us. Yes, we might say we do great things, but is this from our own accord? Surely not! All the strength that we might ever have comes from the only One Who can give it to us.  We do not save souls; we merely make known the saving grace by which we are saved to unbelievers.
